Terms and Conditions

Ribeye Butcher Shop (“Ribeye”) is a concept of CBH Group operated through affiliated corporate entities. References to “Ribeye,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in these Terms mean the Ribeye entity that operates the applicable location or otherwise provides the applicable product or service. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at https://ribeyebutcher.ca/ (the “Site”), your purchases through the Site, and your visits to our retail locations. By using the Site, placing an order, or visiting our stores, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or make purchases with us.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, placing an order, signing up for our newsletter, or entering a promotion or contest, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. Our collection, use and disclosure of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable
privacy laws. You must be at least the age of majority in Alberta (18 years old), or be using the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order or enter a contest.

2. About Ribeye Butcher Shop
Ribeye Butcher Shop sells meat, seafood, and related grocery and prepared-food products through our retail locations and, where available, through online ordering for pickup or delivery. Product availability, hours, and services may vary by location.

3. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
• Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it, or interfere with anyone
else’s use of the Site
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, or our computer systems
• Use any automated system (bots, scrapers, or similar) to access the Site without our prior written
permission
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including false order or payment information
• Use the Site to transmit any virus, malware, or other harmful code

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

4. Products, Descriptions, and Pricing
We try to describe and display our products as accurately as possible, but we do not guarantee that product descriptions, images, weights, or other content on the Site are accurate, complete, or error-free. Because many of our products are fresh and cut or portioned by hand, actual weight, size, and appearance may vary from
what is shown online.

• Prices and product availability may vary by store location
• We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or correct pricing errors, including after an order has been submitted; if we cancel or adjust an order due to a pricing or availability error, we will notify you and, where payment was already taken, issue a refund for the affected item(s)

5. Online Orders, Pickup, and Delivery
Where online ordering is available, you may place an order for in-store pickup or, where offered, delivery. By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products, which we may accept or decline.
• You are responsible for providing accurate contact, pickup, and delivery information
• Pickup and delivery windows are estimates only; we are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including weather, traffic, or third-party delivery services
• Where delivery is fulfilled by a third-party courier or platform, that provider’s own terms and policies may also apply to your delivery
• If an ordered item is unavailable, we may contact you regarding a comparable substitute. Substitutions may be subject to customer approval where appropriate.

6. Payment
Payment for online orders is processed securely through our third-party payment processor at the time of, or prior to, order fulfillment, as indicated at checkout. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We do not store full payment card details on our own systems.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Order Issues
Because many of our products are perishable, we are generally unable to accept returns of food items once they have left the store or been delivered. If there is a problem with the quality, accuracy, or condition of your order, please contact us as soon as possible — and, for perishable items, ideally the same day — using the details in Section 15, and we will work with you to make it right, which may include a replacement, store
credit, or refund at our discretion.

Non-food or packaged retail items may be eligible for return or exchange within a reasonable time of purchase, subject to proof of purchase and the item being unused and in its original condition. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.

8. Promotions, Contests, and Loyalty Programs
From time to time, we may offer promotions, contests, giveaways, or a loyalty/rewards program, in-store or through the Site. Any such promotion may be subject to additional rules, which will be made available at the time of the promotion and will govern in the event of a conflict with these Terms. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any promotion at any time.

9. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, images, recipes, and software — are owned by or licensed to Ribeye Butcher Shop and CBH Group and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written consent, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.
“Ribeye Butcher Shop” and associated logos are trademarks of CBH Group or its affiliates. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

10. User Content and Feedback
If you submit reviews, comments, photos, contest entries, or other content to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display and share that content in connection with our business, subject to applicable privacy laws and any additional consent required for promotional or marketing use, and you confirm that you have the right to grant this license.

11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, delivery platforms, social media, or payment processors) that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except to the extent such warranties cannot be excluded under applicable law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ribeye Butcher Shop, CBH Group, and their respective officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the Site or your purchase of our products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms
excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Alberta or Canadian law, including liability for personal injury caused by our negligence.

14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ribeye Butcher Shop, CBH Group, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
